As the name suggests, Bolt is a fast moving monster. It's also your first looter monster. Like other looter monsters they loot 20% more than normal monsters. Bolt is also the monster with lowest hp in the whole game making it the most easily killed monster in the game.
It's also my preferred monster for looting kozu since it's a fast monster and good for tripping traps. Bolt is also your first monster with a special ability that can be unlocked in the Monster Laboratory.

It's a great monster in lower levels but I think it's lost its use for the late game of a Backyard Monsters Player.
