Backyard Monsters: Unleashed - BYM Mobile App

More than a year ago, I made a post about Backyard Monsters going to mobile here in the BYM blog. It has finally been released although not in the current state of the facebook version of the game. Right now, Backyard Monsters: Unleashed is available for iOS devices and has been optimized for the iPad and iPhone. 

Attack Scene

It's basically a Backyard Monsters game before Inferno and Champions. It's more user friendly but with the same complexity and fun with its original web version. It's a standalone app so unfortunately, you won't be able to sync your fb BYM progress to this app. It's essentially the same game with a better menu for touch. Backyard Monsters: Unleashed is KIXEYE's first official game on mobile and will help open up for it's future titles (War Commander is next) to go mobile.

There are some concerns for pathing with Unleashed though.

The Monsters

Based on the images released shows most of the graphics have been revamped including the sprites. D.A.V.E. looks more awesome as ever in its current form on BYM: Unleashed. 

Leaderboard

Now if only the web version can make this kind of comeback. We're also expecting Unleashed to go Android too considering KIXEYE will surely want to test all the waters of mobile right now for maximum impact. Already played BYM: Unleashed? Tell us about it in the comments below.
