BYM Says Goodbye to Kongregate

One of the most played games on Kongregate, Backyard Monsters will now say goodbye says KIXEYE. The Kong version of BYM has been the last non-facebook version of BYM since the mass removal of Backyard Monsters from other websites like google + last July 2012 (post here). BYM for Kong will be leaving the site on February 18, 2013. 



Compensation
Thankfully, KIXEYE will be giving compensation to Kongregate players who will transfer to fb to play the game. The compensation is unknown though but likely a shiny compensation to get you a head start when you play on facebook. Instructions on how to get the compensation is in this thread on the forums posted by V2. You need to submit your support ticket before February 18 if you actually want to have a compensation.

Conclusion
And finally we have the last Backyard Monsters game standing, the fb version. At this point, all BYM players are now in one game. We are now all connected to one another. We're hoping that the userbase from Kong will give the fb version some more momentum. Now we only need KIXEYE to fix the damn bugs so we can all play happily.
