Level 50, Kozu Tribe Yard |
In MR3, the wild monsters own everything from all the levels of outpost defenders, strongholds, resource outposts to all the regular outposts/wmt yards scattered throughout the map. So basically everything in the map and everything you will ever own were created by wild monster tribes.
Wild monster tribe yards/regular outposts are basically very different compared to their counterparts in MR1 and MR2. In MR2, when you destroy a wild monster yard and take it over. You basically own an empty hex with an outpost building and you will be allowed to pay for starter kits to be built or to build your own buildings. Wild monster tribe yards in MR3, in the other hand are not like that. When these yards are destroyed, they just disappear and we assume they pop out again after a specific amount of time. Basically, in MR3 wmt yards are just farms for you to destroy and earn resources from although they don't give that much resources compared to their counterparts in MR2 and MR1.
Okay, what more? In MR3, wild monster tribe yard levels will depend on your level. Yes, you read that right. Let us say that I'm level 52, that would mean that all the wmt yards would be level 50s. And If my friend is level 49 then all the wmt yards that he would see would all be level 45s. The levels are important because it will decide how tough the yard you will be up against. The wmt yard's toughnest and design will be based on the level. This will allow low level players to attack wmt yards that won't overpower them or are in the range of their own capabilities.
Conclusion
This is based on the BYM Preview version of the game as of October 27/26, 2012. I'm just stating that to remind you that everything I said here are not set in stone. KIXEYE could very well change everything in an update tomorrow or something. But this is more or less the update to Wild Monster Tribes in MR3. The continuation of this post will be more about on the technical changes that we will be having for the MR3 update like the new healing system and the new housing/bunking system for BYM.
