MR3 Preview - Housings And Bunkers

Let's Get Started
I've been itching to talk about housings and bunkers for a while now. Probably because of how the change is somewhat misleading. I was hoping they would change it but I guess it will be staying. In the MR3 update, we will now be able to upgrade our housings to level 10 that means our total housing storage now is 4,000 (assuming you already have level 10 housings). You may be asking why it's misleading.

Here's Why
Bunkers in MR3 are essentially nerfed to have a capacity of half of the original level 5 bunker space. So basically one level 5 bunker will not be able to handle 5 DAVEs inside it or have 800 bunker space. Level 5 bunkers will now be limited to bunk 2 DAVEs or have 400 bunker space. Okay, So what's bad about that? What's the problem with it? KIXEYE is just balancing the game a little bit.

Well, Housing space and Bunker space are now merged to streamline the healing process (since bunked monsters don't instantly heal anymore). That means the 4,000 housing space is the total space you have and that includes your space for bunking monsters which will be (1,600 = 400 x 4). So your real housing space is basically 2,600 housing space. That means your investment of upgrading 4 housings from level 6 to level 10 actually gave you an increase of a WHOPPING 440 housing space.

Okay, to be fair. They do allow us to bunk and unbunk monsters though.

Conclusion
I hate giving out rants as much as you do but when the cost to upgrade the housings is too damn high and long then at least make it worth the upgrade. Do I think people like this system better? Well, yes but the point was the upgrade to level 10 housings is kinda pointless if you begin to measure what you're actually getting. But let's not be pessimists and hope KIXEYE adds more housing space for level 10 housings. And by the way, this is the Blog's 100th post thanks for all your support guys and I hope we reach the 200th post in the near future.
