The Outpost Defender

Yeserday, the BYM Informant released a new picture. It hardly surprised me but it came with some information from V2 in the forums. A quote from The BYM Informant.

My latest discovery on the New World Map is the Outpost Defender. Strongholds, Main Yards and Resource Outposts will need to be defended by surrounding them with a ring of these. SHARE this if you want to know more.

Updated Map Room 3 - All Changes With Details

So I summed all the possible changes for MR3 yesterday. But just today, V2 released new information from a thread which posted the last post I made. And for the sake of spreading correct information. I'll be summing up everything again, including the new information. Here's a pic on David's response a few days ago when I asked him about MR3.

Map Room 3 - All Changes With Details!

Alas! Map Room 3 has been in development for a long time now. A lot of people are asking what are the changes for MR3. I made a post a long time ago but I guess they want an updated one with all the changes.

The Resource Outpost

"Stealing this picture from Backyard Headquarters required some very resourceful planning. Can you guess what this new Building's main function will be? Hint: available on special Outposts, only the Loot-O-Tron will be able to attack it."

I've been waiting for this building for a long time now. Ever since MR3 was announce, we knew that not all outposts will not be able to generate resources. Only special kinds of outposts are allowed to produce resources.

Latest MR3 Image Analysis - It All Makes A Little More Sense Now

Remember when we first saw an image of MR3? If you don't then read this.  As I saw the latest map image, it had some new things but some changes stood up.

The Stronghold

"This new Building will only be available on the Backyard Monsters New World Map. Its been code-named the Stronghold Building, conquer an Outpost with one of these and you'll have a defensive and offensive bonus in your Main Yard and Outposts."

A new building to brighten things up. This building will only be available in MR3 which will basically is extra defense for your other outposts and main yard. This building was first posted by David Scott with a video. I suggest you read our first post about it which contains this thing in action [video].

As MR3 news has been very hard to get. KIXEYE made a character that could change everything. He is the Backyard Informant, a fictional character that was created in KIXEYE to give BYM players glimpses in the production process in KIXEYE HQ and more importantly the making of MR3. 


We suspect Dave is behind all this. This is just genius. The Backyard Informant already posted 2 images of the new world map to date.
